Michigan Skates Hami.

So on Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, we went seshing at Hamilton High.

This Brad Hendrickson, the latest Michigan import, switch back tail skidding.

Everyone was rocking white tees.

Brad claims that southern California was built for skating, that might be so, but I'm claiming that Michigonians were built to skate.

Another Michigonian ripper, Max Schwartz finds a new way to skate this old, tired, Californian skate spot. A metaphor for what Michigonians are doing for the skate scene in general? You locals need to step it up! Haha.

Don't let the picture fool you, Max's nosegrind is definitely outside the box.

Grajeda Films took over the camera for a little while and shot this picture of me getting my front nose on.

Valley Lines.

Went out the the Valley yesterday and shot a bunch of photos at this one school with blue benches that everyone skates.

On the way home Ray Maldonado got a phone that confirmed he is on Zoo York flow. That should give you an idea of how good he is with his skateboard. Here he's filming a line starting with this buttery back nosegrind through the middle.

Sometimes you can find the most awesome compositions within the rigidly designed school yards of southern california.

Max Schwartz surprises me every time we go skate. It might look like a back 5-0, but that just because Max has amazing style on this switch backside nosegrind.

My first ever skate photo! Many thanks to Max for pushing the button and timing it perfectly. Nosegrind.

There were a bunch of soccer games going on behind us, some of the kids took an interest in us.

Max Schwartz with his signature backside 180 nosegrind.

Grajeda Films came through with a perfectly executed crooked grind.

If you know Jesus, you know he can do these awesome pop shuvs where he kicks out both his feet. This is one of them.

Come back soon, I have some photos I shot today to post.

Some Insight.

A few of my photos of Justin Cefai got blogged on the Insight clothing's USA site. Heres a more direct link: Cefai rips.

Pasadena Ditch.

So a few of us went to this amazing ditch spot in Pasadena the other day. I'm definitely gonna be making another trip there sometime soon, so watch out for some more photos. Heres what i got for now.

Alec Beck blasts out of the ditch. You can't tell from my photo and its really hard to explain, so just take my word that the run up for this was sketchy as fuck. Its amazing the things humans build to customize our environment, but its even more amazing how we can take such dead space and turn it into our own playground full of life. People should pay us to skate their useless shit.

Whitey is always hyped to get a photo. Kickflip in a sea of cement.

Not sure what exactly the purpose of this structure is, but Alec makes good use of it. Wallride fakie.
