Where?

Mike at Revere.

Really small post. I've been in Idaho the past week, but I shot this photo the day before I left.

Mike Limb somehow manages to get enough speed to get the way up that fucking bank and pull a steezy back smith.

Super, epic, gnarly, malibu pool session post.

Good people, amazing skating, beautiful location, lots of photos, perfect weather, unexpected adventure, Alec shitting in the wilderness = a lovely evening in the Bu'.

You can usually walk up this driveway and then a little trail up to this pool on top of a hill in Malibu, but Christian, Mike, and myself got kicked out by a neighbor who just happened to be outside when we started to walk up the driveway. Determined to skate this fucking pool that we just drove all the way to Malibu to skate, we parking all the way down there at PCH and attempted to find another way up. It wasn't easy scaling this steep-ass, private property, dirt hill and hoping a fence with my heavy ass photo backpack, my tree stump of a tripod, and our boards all while trying not to be spotted by rich folks in the surrounding houses. The epic hike made the session all the more worth while though.

This fucker Alec made it up the easy way.

I was pretty hyped on this shadow that was slicing across the pool from the evening sun. Christian gets some vert backside.

Mike loves frontside.

Alec rocks and rolls in the golden summer evening light while Mike ruins my photo. Asshole. You could of at least looked the other way haha.

Its the ocean. Mike is still getting his frontside steeze on.

This looks weak as fuck right? Well you should of seen it in person. Believe it or not this is a land. Frontside powerslide grabbing on to coping thingy. Christian isn't in town much, but whenever we do go skate he always comes through with the goods.

Do I really have to talk about how sick Alec is anymore? Just look all the photos taken of him. Fakie ollie with a nice little Indy grab.

For sure the steeziest one. Mike gets his frontside powerskid on, handless this time.

Mike reping the dodgers frontside in the deep end. Quite a scenic pool.

I think Alec should take wilderness shits more often, it seems to help his skating. Or maybe he's a skate werewolf that gets extra gnarly when the moon is full. Either way, Alec was ripping it on this particular evening, but i guess he always does. Here he gets some coping backside.

Magically the colors changed completely when i snapped this photo of Alec rocking to fakie.

Its so easy to shoot good photos of Alec. Just but on your trusty fisheye lens, stand at the edge of whatever transition your skating (don't get too close) and watch Alec fly all up in your face, tweak the shit out of his board and hold it there for a while giving you all the time in the world to snap the shutter come away with a great skate flick. Oh he lands it perfectly too.

There was no filmer with us, so your just gonna have to take my word that Alec stuck this ridiculous back crailslide. Its really hard to do justice to how gnarly this transition is.

I really wish someone had got some footy of this. It was so sick. Everyone has seen people doing this kind of doubles stuff in skateparks, but in a real abandoned pool? As Jake would say, "totally awesome!" Justin ollies to fakie and Alec frontside airs over him. Wow.

Justin is just an overall amazingly talented skateboarder. He skates everything with so much ease and control with his board. Cefai says whats up in the deep end.

Hand shadow up top is kinda spooky. Justin gets some...i dunno if you can really call that coping?

Viva pool skating! Maybe next time I'll actually skate the pool a bit more...haha yeah right. Leave some comments! These skaters deserve some love.
